Dwarfs VS Goblins

Alright… yes you guessed it… another Peon done…mouahahaha <== *hysterical laughter followed by *maniacal laughter.

That’s exhaustion talking…….. errr laughing…..don’t mind it!

Ok so a little about this little guy: i actually did better time on him and i think he still turned out great. One of the major steps for me IMO……. wait…………. let me see if i already talked about this below. hmmmm…(*still reading, hold on.. loll) OK good, i didn’t. I know what your thinking…. what is he talking about? No worries i’ll spill it… hehe

So i was saying that one of the major steps for me in this project is that i finally started doing eyes a little more to my satisfaction (for now). I’ve spend lots of time looking at tutorials made by some of the greatest artists in this hobby and i think one of them finally clicked (for those interested here’s the link). Great site by the way… go ahead… you know you want to check it out! hehe… Moving on….Don’t ask me why it clicked!! it just happened …not my fault. Also i guess i was more confident about it as i found out (yet again from great tutorials on Coolminiornot (article section)) that’s great site too…a MUST SEE!!!!……how to strip minis and start over.

I’m happy to say that i finished one peon for the Dwarf side. Only 7 more to go there and like 4 for the Goblin side. This time i picked Rackham again of course, the Soldiers of the Plains from the Nains de Tir-Na-Bor. Once again, same top quality sculpts that are a pleasure to paint…. well most times (don’t drop ’em when almost finished..!@#$$@@).

Well this one came out great IMO, hope the rest look like him 😀

Ahhh love that Grumpy face…hehe

At this point i only put the 1st color for the skin, for those who care (i’m sure it’s not many hehe, i used GW dwarf flesh). Once i’m satisfied with the coat, i’ll start highlighting.

Yup,

You guessed it, as it is a chess set, it has opposing sides. For this one it’s Dwarfs VS Goblins. Cute little buggers aren’t they?!?!?!

Seriously.

All this is possible due to the great range and selection from Rackham. Trust me it’s worth just taking a look. 😉
